How content gets made
Every calculator combines a sourced formula with written context — how it works, a worked example, and answers to common questions. Drafting uses a mix of research and AI-assisted writing tools, but nothing publishes until the underlying rates and formulas are checked against the primary source listed on the page, and the calculator's output is manually tested against known examples. Higher-stakes categories (see below) get an additional paid review from a qualified professional.
What we will never do
- Publish a fabricated author, reviewer, or "last updated" date
- State a rate or figure we haven't traced to an official source
- Publish Loans, Superannuation or Centrelink calculators without a credited professional review
- Accept payment to publish a specific number, rate or recommendation
- Use paid links or link exchanges to build search rankings
Advertising and affiliate links
OneCalculate is free. Once the site qualifies for display advertising (Google AdSense), ads will appear only in fixed positions — never between the page title and the calculator — and are always distinguishable from editorial content. Some pages may include affiliate links to relevant products or services; these are only added where they genuinely relate to what the calculator just worked out, and they don't influence the numbers the calculator shows. Any paid or affiliate relationship active on a given page will be disclosed on that page.
Corrections
We correct errors as soon as they're confirmed and update the page's "last updated" date when we do. Seemethodology for our source list and review calendar, andcontact to report an issue.
